Healing Justice: Holistic Self-Care

Loretta Pyles, Ph.D.

Dr. Pyles is Professor in the School of Social Welfare at the State University of New York at Albany.  She is the author or editor of six books, including Progressive Community Organizing: Reflective Practice in a Globalizing World, and author of more than 50 articles and book chapters.  She is also a certified yoga instructor with an interest in the ways that spiritual practices can facilitate change.  Her latest book, Healing Justice: Holistic Self-Care for Change Makers, was published by Oxford University Press in 2019.
