Train the Trainer Program
Applications are being accepted for ProActive Caring’s Train-the-Trainer Program. View a flyer here.
Do you work with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD)? ProActive Caring is offering a free Train-the-Trainer Program that will train professionals and caregivers to teach individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities how to learn and practice mindfulness strategies independently, using task-analysis and assistive technology.
-
Participants will complete two Zoom sessions (daytime and evening options are listed below) to prepare them for supporting individuals with IDD.
-
Trainees will learn to use the MPower Me platform and app while working with individuals with IDD. MPower Me designs, installs, and supports personalized assistive technology to increase independence, communication, employability, and inclusion for people with IDD while enhancing existing services and reducing the need for human intervention.
